Jay's FAQ Dude, What kind of Guitar is that ? It's a "strings and things", They were a small company in the 80's, (I think it was originally a store in Memphis, the guitar company eventually changed their name to Saint Louis Blues) they built a bunch of guitars back then and this is one of them. I was working at a Guitar shop back in 1984 that sold these and I always kind of liked they way they played. My boss sold this one to some kid. I eventually left the employ of that store and two years later was in another store and saw the guitar that had sold two years earlier, I knew the owner of the store and asked him where he got it, he explained that some kid sold it to him, turns out he didn't take to playing the guitar so he just got rid of it. I then asked him how much he wanted for it he said he would take $200.00 for the Guitar including the case ( it originally sold for $600.00), so I bought it and the rest is history. I don't know what kind of pickups are in it or any other specs, those kind of things bore me, and yes this is the only guitar I have used for the past 13 years. Dude, What kind of strings do you use ? What, are you from guitar player magazine or something, next question. You make a lot of faces when you play, Do you make those same silly faces when you have sex ? Boy I hope not, but I don't know no one has ever taken pictures Have you ever worn a dress and bunny ears on stage? Funny you should mention it You often seem kind of bitter and Dark, are you really like that or is it just an act? Well you you know I wasn't always this way I was once carefree, but years of putting up with inane questions like these has pushed me beyond what I can take and made me the cynic I am today Well that may be true but.. No more questions, Interview over.... Just kidding go ahead, don't look so hurt. I hear your working on a drum and bass album, how's that going? It is nearly complete, I will have a link on this site when its done so you can hear it, The project was Done with Drummer Rodney Howard of the Xmembers playing, and me programming everything else, it kind of sounds like Luke Vibert or Squarepusher if you're familiar with their stuff. Where do you find the time? On the face of a clock, where else? Good Bye. |
